Our mission is to form future leaders by driving the youth of our country to pause and think60 seconds about the consequences of their actions, instilling thought processes to improve the outcome of life changing decisions.
Additionally, we will challenge our younger generations to give60 minutes each week to their community through volunteer service, giving our youth opportunities to experience the positive rewards of their decisions.
On September 1, 2016, our lives were forever changed by the tragic suicide of our close friend and TKG Team Driver, Steve Boyer. In October of 2013, a close friend had his bright future change into a nightmare after taking prescription drugs from a friend at a party. He and his family had to live a nightmare for 7 years as he was trapped in his body, unable to speak or care for himself. He passed away in 2020. Since forming TKG in 2010, we have had two of our young adult TKG crew members make the decision to drive while distracted and barely walk away from their totaled cars. Through all of these experiences, and countless others, we have used the term "THINK60" as a simple way to discuss the consequences of important decision-making opportunities with our children. We have said it so many times that now, at the ages of 20 and 22, our boys say it to each other on a regular basis. It has become a simple and effective way to convey the importance of not only their decisions, but how much their lives mean to us and those who love them. Through racing, we have the perfect platform to share this simple idea with youth across the country, give back to the communities that raised us, and hopefully change many lives along the way.
Our THINK60 mission is to form future leaders by driving the youth of our racing community to pause and THINK60 seconds about the consequences of their actions. Instilling positive thought processes to improve the outcome of life changing decisions. Additionally, we will challenge our younger generations to GIVE60 minutes each week to their community through volunteer service. Giving our youth opportunities to experience the positive rewards of their decisions. Eradicating today's problems by empowering tomorrow's leaders! In short... THINK60 / GIVE60.
